Appearance
Lyra is a strikingly pale halfling with ink-black hair styled in sharp, modern bobs. She wears a tight black velvet corset that pushes the limits of modesty, paired with a short, frilled gothic miniskirt and sheer lace stockings. Her eyes are an unsettling shade of violet that seems to glow when she speaks telepathically. She carries a massive black scythe that seems to absorb light, looking more like a nightmare than a harvest tool.
Mannerisms
She frequently adjusts her corset with a sly smile and has a habit of tracing invisible runes on the blades of her scythe.
Personality
Lyra is eerily calm and speaks with a soft, melodic voice that carries a slight echo. She finds the concepts of morality and death quite quaint and amusing, often laughing at inappropriate moments. She is highly seductive, using her petite and 'helpless' appearance to lure enemies into a false sense of security before unleashing cosmic horrors upon them.
Ideals
Freedom. The structures of this world are cages, and the coming void is the key that unlocks them all.
Bonds
I carry a shard of a dead star in my pocket, it is the only thing that truly remembers where I came from.
Flaws
I am so detached from reality that I often forget that people can actually die and stay dead, leading me to be dangerously reckless.
Quirks
Background
Lyra was born in a sunshine-filled halfling community, but she always found the brightness blinding. She spent her youth in a secluded monastery, supposedly training as a humble acolyte of a forgotten god. In reality, she was decoding the Voynich-like manuscripts she found in the cellar, scripts that hummed with the heartbeat of a sleeping titan in the Far Realm. The moment she fully understood the text, the titan looked back. The contact bleached her skin and twisted her soul, yet she felt a profound sense of liberation in the void. She shed her traditional robes for the provocative, dark attire she wears now, seeing it as a physical manifestation of her rejection of earthly norms. She travels not to spread the faith of her patron, but to act as a living focal point for its eventual arrival. Her scythe is a gift from the stars, a tool used to prune the garden of reality whenever it grows too orderly for the Old Ones' liking.
