Appearance
Pawtizm is a lean tiefling with dusk-red skin, curling black horns, and a long tail that flicks whenever he listens to birds. His eyes are bright amber, his hair is a shaggy mop of dark curls, and his clothing is practical travel-worn leathers layered with charms of bone, twine, and seedpods. He carries a wooden shield painted with leaf and paw prints, and smells faintly of rain, moss, and woodsmoke.
Mannerisms
He punctuates thoughts with soft whistles, clicks his tongue when thinking, and tilts his head like a curious fox when someone lies. In calm moments he unconsciously taps rhythms on his shield, as if calling an unseen flock.
Personality
Gentle, alert, and a little odd, Pawtizm approaches the world like a trail full of clues. He is patient with animals, protective of the weak, and surprisingly fearless when someone else needs help. He speaks in short, bright bursts, then follows them with birdlike trills or squeaks when excited.
Ideals
Freedom. The wild should be free of fear, chains, and greedy ownership, and every living thing deserves space to breathe and choose its own path.
Bonds
He protects small creatures, lonely travelers, and anyone mocked for being different, because he knows what it is to be stared at like an omen.
Flaws
He cannot resist imitating odd sounds, even in tense moments, and sometimes ruins a serious plan by chirping at the worst possible time. He also trusts animals far more quickly than people, which can lead him into trouble when a charming villain smiles too kindly.
Quirks
Background
Pawtizm was born on the edge of a frontier settlement where folk feared his horns but needed his family's help when storms took the crops. He learned early that animals trusted him faster than people did, and that strange little noises could turn fear into curiosity. He became known as Beeper of Squeeps because he mimicked birds, foxes, and even frogs with uncanny precision, coaxing hidden beasts from the brush as if the wild itself had answered his call. When a blight began devouring the nearby woods, Pawtizm followed the dying tracks beyond the last farms and into the older green places where the spirits of root and stream still listened. There, a wandering druid taught him that nature did not care for bloodlines, only balance, and that a gentle hand could be as mighty as a storm. Now he roams as a protector of roads, groves, and stray creatures, using his strange tiefling spark to soothe frightened hearts, confuse bullies, and remind the world that the wild belongs to everyone who respects it.
