Appearance
Kallista is a towering Tiefling with deep ruby skin and horns that curve back like a ram's. She possesses a remarkably curvaceous and statuesque physique, often accented by simple leather harnesses and the sheer presence of her massive Vorpal blade strapped to her back. Her eyes glow with a faint, fiery inner light.
Mannerisms
Kallista often rests her hand on the hilt of her sword while speaking, leaning in close to people to emphasize her height and presence.
Personality
She is a woman of immense appetites and even larger intensity. She speaks with a low, gravelly voice and carries the confidence of a warrior who has survived a hundred massacres. She is surprisingly jolly until the moment the bloodlust takes her, then she becomes a whirlwind of decapitating steel.
Ideals
Might makes right. Those with the strength to act have the duty to shape the world around them.
Bonds
She carries a small piece of a banner from her original legion, the only family she ever truly knew.
Flaws
She is easily bored by diplomacy and tends to solve complex political problems by threatening to remove heads.
Quirks
Background
Born under a crimson moon, Kallista was sold to a mercenary legion as soon as she was old enough to hold a shield. Her infernal heritage made her a pariah, but her incredible physical presence and natural talent for violence quickly earned her a place on the front lines. She rose through the ranks of the Iron Vanguard, becoming a symbol of terror for the enemy and a bastion of strength for her squad. Her size and striking appearance often led enemies to underestimate her speed until their heads were already rolling in the dust. During the Siege of Silverpeak, she discovered an ancient vault containing a Vorpal Greatsword, a blade that seemed to call to the latent fury in her soul. She claimed the weapon, decapitating the enemy general in a single strike and turning the tide of the war. Now at the peak of her power, she wanders the realms as a legendary freelancer, taking contracts that no army would dare touch and leaving a trail of headless corpses in her wake.
