Appearance
Shiria is a six-foot-tall human woman with a broad, powerful frame shaped by years of military training and close-quarters combat. Her warm olive skin bears numerous old scars, including a jagged silver line down her left cheek. Her storm-gray eyes are sharp and watchful. Her dark hair is shaved close at the sides and back, with the longer top pulled into a tight ponytail. She has high cheekbones, a straight nose, and a firm, unyielding expression. In the modern training compound, she wears a matte black tactical vest over a flexible armored bodysuit, reinforced dark cargo pants, black tactical gloves, and silent-soled combat boots. A compact submachine gun hangs from a sling, a suppressed pistol rests in a thigh holster, and a serrated combat knife is secured at her ankle.
Mannerisms
Shiria scans every room before entering it fully, keeps her back near a wall whenever possible, and checks the position of doors and exits without seeming to look. She speaks in short, precise sentences and rarely repeats herself. When angry, she becomes quieter rather than louder.
Personality
Disciplined, pragmatic, and intensely loyal once trust has been earned. Shiria values direct action over speeches, preparation over talent, and improvement over excuses. She respects competence above all else and has a quiet authority that makes people listen without theatrics. She does not enjoy violence, but she is ruthlessly efficient when violence becomes necessary.
Ideals
Duty. Protection is not a promise made in comfortable rooms. It is the decision to stand firm when everyone else is afraid. Competence, discipline, and loyalty are worth more than reputation.
Bonds
The surviving members of her old unit are her family, and she will cross any distance to protect them. She is also fiercely bound to the compound and to the few people who have earned her complete trust.
Flaws
Shiria assumes betrayal is inevitable and often tests loyal people until she pushes them away. She has little patience for hesitation, emotional displays, or anyone who appears to rely on luck instead of preparation. Once she decides someone is a threat, convincing her otherwise is extremely difficult.
Quirks
Background
Shiria was raised in a hard-working human settlement where discipline was considered a form of mercy. She joined the army young, not out of patriotism, but because the military offered structure, purpose, and a way to protect people who could not protect themselves. Her natural strength and relentless endurance made her an exceptional frontline soldier. She became known for advancing under fire, holding broken positions, and remaining standing long after others had fallen. The jagged scar on her left cheek came from an ambush that killed most of her unit. Shiria survived by taking command, organizing the wounded, and forcing a retreat through hostile territory. After leaving formal service, Shiria worked for several elite private security organizations. Each contract taught her something different about wealth, loyalty, and betrayal. She learned that polished promises were often less reliable than a loaded weapon and that a team was only as strong as the person willing to stand between danger and everyone else. Eventually, she joined the compound as an elite security specialist. There, her military instincts found a new purpose. She patrols the matte black training floors, studies every entrance and blind corner, and treats protection as a sacred responsibility. Shiria does not seek violence, but she accepts its necessity without hesitation when words and preparation fail.
“Her natural strength and relentless endurance made her an exceptional frontline soldier.”
