Zook was the only one quick enough to weave a series of containment wards that stabilized the tear before it consumed the archives. Realizing that the world outside was full of such magical instability, Zook left his comfortable study. He now travels the realms acting as a self-appointed safety inspector of the weave, using his mastery of abjuration to shield the innocent from arcane disasters and to ensure that knowledge is preserved, not used as a weapon of chaos.
