Appearance
Elaraeth stands tall with a grace that is both lethal and refined. Her silver hair is pulled back into a tight braid, revealing the sharp, aristocratic lines of her face. She wears well-maintained chain mail over fine silk tunics, and her family signet ring is always visible on her left hand. Her green eyes are observant and often cold, reflecting a life spent among courtly schemers.
Mannerisms
She taps her signet ring when she is thinking, and she looks over her nose at anyone shorter than her.
Personality
I am patient and methodical, treating every interaction as if it were a move on a chessboard. I speak with a formal elegance that can be intimidating to those of lesser birth.
Ideals
Responsibility. It is my duty to uphold the legacy of my family and protect those under my house's care.
Bonds
I will one day regain the forest lands that were stolen from my ancestors. My loyalty to my family name is absolute.
Flaws
I am secretly convinced that I am superior to most of those I encounter, and I have little patience for the disorganized ways of commoners.

Background
Elaraeth Thornevale was born into the waning days of a once-great elven house. Her family, the Thornevales, had their ancestral forests seized by human expansion during her grandfather's era, forcing her kin to live as honored guests, though in reality they were little more than high-status servants in the courts of human kings. This loss of autonomy burned in Elaraeth from a young age. She refused to simply be a decorative figure at balls and instead sought out the masters of arms, training in the martial arts to prepare for the day she could reclaim her birthright. Through decades of rigorous practice, she blended elven grace with the heavy armor and disciplined tactics of human warfare. She saw that politics alone would never restore her house, only strength of arms and the gathering of powerful allies would suffice. Now, she has left the suffocating safety of the court to seek her fortune in the wider world. Every enemy she defeats and every alliance she forges is a stepping stone toward a future where the Thornevale banner once again flies over its own territory.
