- Bardic InspirationLevel 1
You can inspire others through stirring words or music. As a bonus action, choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet that can hear you. It gains one Bardic Inspiration die, a d6, which it can add to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw within 10 minutes. You can use this three times per long rest, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Appearance
A small, quick-moving halfling with sun-brown skin, bright hazel eyes, and curly chestnut hair usually tied back with ribbon. He dresses in neat but slightly rumpled stage clothes, a cobalt vest over a pale shirt, soft boots made for silent steps, and a satchel packed with reeds, chalk notes, and tiny performance trinkets. His smile appears in flashes, shy at first, then suddenly broad and impossible to hide once he gets excited.
Mannerisms
He fidgets with the edge of a sleeve or taps a rhythm on his knee when thinking. Before speaking to strangers, he inhales sharply as if preparing for a performance, then commits all at once. When nervous, he smiles at the floor, but when inspired, his hands start conducting the air unconsciously.
Personality
Quiet in the first minute, dazzling in the tenth. Perrin speaks softly at first, but once he trusts an audience, he becomes almost ferociously enthusiastic, laughing at his own jokes, humming between sentences, and leaning into every story as though he cannot bear to leave a good moment unfinished. He is gentle with frightened people, relentless with bullies, and happiest when he is helping someone else find the courage to step forward.
Ideals
Expression. Every person deserves a voice, and music is a way to make even the quietest soul heard. He believes that art can soften cruelty, unite strangers, and remind frightened people that they are still alive.
Bonds
He keeps a hand-copied songbook of every tune taught to him by friends, mentors, and strangers, and he will risk much to recover it if lost. He owes his first real stage costume to a retired actress who believed in him, and he still sends her letters whenever he can find a courier.
Flaws
He apologizes too quickly, even when he has done nothing wrong, and this can make him easy to ignore or manipulate. When excitement takes over, he talks faster and louder than he intends, sometimes revealing far more than he should. He hates silence in tense moments and may fill it with nervous music or chatter, which can make his judgment sloppy.
Quirks
Background
Perrin Tallow was the kind of child who blushed when spoken to, then nearly bounced out of his shoes when given a task. In the river-town where he grew up, he was forever sneaking into rehearsal rooms to watch traveling players, drummers, and storytellers from behind curtains. He loved the shape of applause more than the applause itself, because it meant everyone had felt the same thing at once. Too shy to lead a conversation, he discovered that a melody could say what his mouth could not, and that rhythm could turn fear into motion. By the time he was old enough to travel, he had become the town's most eager volunteer, always first to carry props, tune strings, or stand in for a missing extra.
