Founder’s Story

The Guild of Singing Brushes began after the last holy war between the gods. A traveling court of performers sheltered a dying god-strand made corporeal as a fragment of Ebartaran’s essence. The fragment inspired a dozen artists and spellwrights to form a fraternity to keep song and image alive as acts of devotion and healing. They combined imagery, sound, and arcane suture into public rites that eased divine wounds and comforted the bereaved. What began as an intimate circle of artist-priests grew into a worldwide guild as those rites helped towns recover from the war’s cultural devastation. Their watershed moment came when a traveling exhibition in a major capital secretly healed a public icon struck by sacrilegious zealots; that event turned public opinion and launched formal chapters across continents.
