The current watershed moment was the Breaking of the Seventh Seal, 18 years ago. A royal excavation breached a buried Stoneborn chamber beneath Mount Gatel. The chamber released a pressure wave that flattened a mining town and awakened tremors across the region. The Red Measure sealed the site, killed several royal witnesses, and claimed the disaster was a natural quake. Since then, the faction has quietly searched for the First Weight, convinced that whoever controls it could either protect the Stoneborn forever or destroy the entire mountain realm.
