Last Mercy

Last Mercy is an enormous greatsword forged from dark, weathered silver-black steel. Its broad blade bears ancient runes carved vertically along the fuller, each rune burning with a deep violet light. Purple-black mist constantly curls from the weapon as though trapped souls are leaking through fractures in the metal. Its ornate, angular crossguard resembles the wings of a crow reduced to jagged iron, while the grip is wrapped in black funeral cloth that never frays. Though its presence feels oppressive, a faint silver radiance sometimes glimmers beneath the violet corruption, revealing the blade's older purpose.
