Its story
A heavy silver-and-jade pectoral collar rests across the chest, its weight cool against the skin. Two sculpted cobras coil around one another, their emerald eyes glowing faintly in darkness. Fine scales etched along the silver catch the light like damp stone, while the central clasp resembles a polished serpent fang.
Lore
The Siss'tha Coil teaches that venom is both danger and medicine, and that only those who understand the serpent's patience should command its strength. The collar is a mark of high office, but its protection is said to come from the Maw itself, where emerald water runs beneath cliffs slick with mineralized scales.
History
High priests of the Siss'tha Coil have worn the collar during rites at the hanging basins of the Maw. Coil tradition holds that it has passed from keeper to keeper through generations of disputed aquifer claims, though its earliest bearer is lost to the rift's older legends.
