The Chained Sun

A length of star-forged adamantine chain terminates in a literal miniature sun, roughly three feet across, suspended within a cage of radiant iron thorns. The sun burns without consuming the chain, casting bright light in a 120-foot radius and dim light for an additional 120 feet. When swung, the chained sun screams like a newborn star and leaves a trail of molten gold across the air. Its handle is wrapped in dragon-hide and capped with a dawnstone that remains warm even in the void.
