Its story
Carved from a single petrified fang, this dagger has a pale, stone-hard blade veined with dark green mineral lines. A faint emerald sheen gathers along its edge like dew, and the hooked point smells subtly of wet stone and bitter herbs. Its wrapped grip is fashioned from braided serpent hide, cool and faintly slick to the touch.
Lore
In the Maw of Siss'tha, venom is both danger and currency. The dagger embodies an old local belief that poison need not be wasted: a predator that draws blood must surrender some of its strength in return. Its emerald glimmer is said to brighten near the Maw's contested aquifers.
History
Maw tradition holds that the first Fang-Siphon was shaped after a shrine-keeper recovered the serpent-god's fallen tooth from a ledge above the chasm. Later blades were carved from fragments of that relic. Some have passed between Serpent-Kin shrine wardens, dwarf workshops, and traders navigating the disputed aquifers.
