Gravewind, the Blackened Reaper

This weapon resembles a flail whose chain has been replaced by a single flexible length of blackened grave-iron. At its end hangs a curved katana blade carved from volcanic obsidian, its edge impossibly thin and its surface filled with slow-moving silhouettes of grasping hands. The handle is wrapped in strips of funeral cloth, and tiny iron bells hang beneath the guard. They never ring when the weapon moves, but chime softly whenever a nearby creature dies. Violet necromantic fire burns along the blade without producing heat.
