Mask of the First Regent

A black basalt funerary mask sized to cover the face, its stylized features severe and watchful. Thin lines of electrum trace the brow, cheeks, lips, and temples in a pattern resembling a crown viewed from above. Whenever the mask is lifted, turned, or worn, the metal gives off a faint, delicate chime, like distant ceremonial bells. Despite its stone construction, the inner surface rests comfortably against the wearer's face and never grows cold.
