Jack Frost's Crook

Jack Frost's Crook is a beautifully crooked quarterstaff grown from silver birch and capped with a hooked branch of clear blue ice. Frost constantly gathers along its grain, yet the wood never becomes brittle. Tiny snowflakes spiral around the crook when it is swung, and the weapon leaves a brief trail of glittering rime in the air. Its hooked head can catch cloaks, branches, or weapon hafts, while a pale blue glow shines from within the ice whenever winter magic is invoked.
