Its story
A moss-green traveling cloak woven from soft, weatherproof fibers, its hem stitched with tiny leaves that shift with the seasons. A clasp of polished rowan wood holds a seed-shaped amber stone. When the wearer stands among living plants, faint veins of green light wander across the fabric.
Lore
In woodland villages, the mantle is said to remember every root that sheltered its wearer. Its leaves grow brighter near places where the balance of nature has been badly harmed.
History
Elarra made the mantle for a ranger tasked with protecting a young forest from poachers. It passed between wardens for generations, becoming known for turning a patch of ordinary undergrowth into a sudden, grasping barrier.
