Walking Husk - AI-generated fantasy Monster

Walking Husk

A walking husk is a crude undead construct built around a soul crystal rather than a traditional necromantic core. The crystal contains a fragment of stolen life force, allowing the body to keep moving after its flesh has been destroyed. Most walking husks are obedient but simple, capable of following direct orders such as guard, attack, carry, or retrieve. Their greatest weakness is also their greatest safeguard: unless the crystal is broken, the husk can rise again.

Undead Construct. The husk has advantage on saving throws against effects that turn undead. It does not need to eat, drink, breathe, or sleep.
Creator-Bound. The husk is immune to commands from anyone except its creator. It understands simple orders from its creator and follows them literally. If its creator is dead or absent, it continues its last command until that command is completed or impossible.
Unthinking Obedience. The husk has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened. It cannot be frightened while within 60 feet of its creator.
Crystal Reformation. When reduced to 0 hit points, the husk collapses but is not permanently destroyed until its soul crystal is destroyed. See the Dark Purple Soul Crystal action.
Multiattack. The husk makes four Crystal Claw attacks. It can replace one attack with Necrotic Pulse if available.
Crystal Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 () slashing damage plus 2 () necrotic damage.
Necrotic Pulse. The husk releases a pulse of grave energy. One creature within 10 feet must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 3 () necrotic damage and have its speed reduced by 10 feet until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and suffers no speed reduction.
Dark Purple Soul Crystal. If the husk is reduced to 0 hit points, its body collapses, but the dark purple crystal in its head remains active. Unless the crystal is destroyed, the husk reforms with 5 hit points after 1 minute. The crystal can be destroyed by dealing 5 damage to it while the husk is incapacitated, or by a creature using an action to make a successful Strength or Dexterity check while adjacent to the body. The crystal is immune to necrotic and psychic damage.
