Rusk, Murfala's Beast Snatcher - AI-generated fantasy Monster

Rusk, Murfala's Beast Snatcher

Rusk is not a true beast, but a fiend bred to look like one. Murfala the Grasping Shadow sends such hunters ahead of its hunger, each one tasked with bringing living meat back to the dark. Shepherds tell stories of a smoke-gray hound with hooked chains for claws that appears at the edge of the herd just before the moon goes red. Those who survive its hunt learn a simple rule of the plains: if the grass begins to whisper and the animals all turn toward the same direction, something hungry has already found them.

Keen Smell. Rusk has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Wisdom (Survival) checks that rely on smell, and it can track a creature by scent even through light wind or ordinary grass cover.
Predator's Grip. Rusk has advantage on attack rolls against any creature it is grappling.
Pack-Hunter. Rusk has advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of Rusk's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Multiattack. Rusk makes two Claw attacks or one Claw attack and one Hooked Chain attack.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 () slashing damage plus 3 () necrotic damage. If the target is a beast, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be grappled (escape ). While grappled this way, the target is also restrained. Rusk can grapple only one creature with this claw at a time.
Hooked Chain. Ranged Weapon Attack: to hit, range 20/60 ft., one Large or smaller creature. Hit: 7 () piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pulled up to 10 feet straight toward Rusk. A creature pulled within 5 feet is not pulled farther if doing so would move it into hazardous terrain it cannot enter.
Gloam Smoke. Rusk hurls a smoke-bag at a point it can see within 30 feet. The area in a 10-foot radius becomes heavily obscured until the start of Rusk's next turn. A creature other than Rusk that starts its turn in the area must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of its next turn.
Hook Deflection. When a creature Rusk can see misses it with a melee attack, Rusk reduces the damage by 3, provided the attacker is within 5 feet and the attack came from a creature larger than Tiny.
