Astraeus the Storm-Mane

Legend says Astraeus was born from the first strike of lightning during a holy war. He serves as a mount for solar angels or as a lone guardian of the gates of the Silver City.

Static Mane. A creature that touches Astraeus or hits him with a melee attack while within 5 feet of him takes 5 () lightning damage.
Pounce. If Astraeus moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, Astraeus can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.
Illumination. Astraeus sheds bright light in a 20 foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet.
Multiattack. Astraeus makes two attacks: one with his bite and one with his claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 () piercing damage plus 7 () lightning damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 () slashing damage plus 3 () lightning damage.
Storm Roar (Recharge 5 to 6). Astraeus releases a thunderous roar in a 30 foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 22 () thunder damage and is pushed 10 feet away and knocked prone. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't pushed or knocked prone.
Arcing Step. When a creature misses Astraeus with a melee attack, Astraeus can teleport up to 15 feet to an unoccupied space he can see. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
