Rafiki the Playwright Construct

Tales say a traveling troupe inscribed an old theatre charm into a prop to keep a show from failing. A night of perfect audience awe and a lightning strike birthed Rafiki the Playwright. Directors revere him and stagehands whisper his name for luck.

Wooden Frame. Rafiki is made of painted wood and brass. He bleeds resin only when heavily damaged.
Stage Presence. Rafiki exudes an aura of stage presence. Allies within 30 feet gain a bonus to saving throws and attack rolls while they can see or hear him. This bonus increases to +2 while Rafiki has more than half his hit points.
Stagehands. Rafiki can summon up to two Stagehand Marionettes that occupy unoccupied space within 60 feet. Each marionette has 10 hit points, AC 12, and makes a single unarmed strike (d4 bludgeoning) on Rafiki's turn as a bonus action. Summoned marionettes vanish after 3 rounds or when reduced to 0 HP. Rafiki can summon stagehands twice and regains uses after a short or long rest.
Director's Resolve. Rafiki has advantage on saving throws against being charmed and frightened.
Paper-Thin Critique. Vulnerability to fire. When Rafiki takes fire damage, roll a d6. On a 5 or 6 a splinter falls off and Rafiki takes an additional 3 () fire damage as the splinter flares.
Theatrical Slam. Theatrical Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit 22 () bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, Rafiki the Playwright Construct can attempt to shove it 10 feet as part of the same attack.
Stage Throw. Stage Throw. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit 25 () bludgeoning damage. On a hit the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone as if bowled into scenery.
Grand Reveal. Grand Reveal. Rafiki makes a dramatic gesture. Each ally of Rafiki within 30 feet that can see or hear him gains temporary hit points and advantage on their next saving throw made before the end of Rafiki's next turn. Once Rafiki uses Grand Reveal, he cannot use it again until he finishes a short or long rest.
Prophecy of the Play. Prophecy of the Play. Rafiki releases a burst of playwrightly magic in a 20-foot radius centered on himself. Each hostile creature in the area must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save a creature is charmed and incapacitated with eyes fixed on Rafiki for 1 round as if watching an irresistible performance. On a success the creature is instead frightened until the end of its next turn. Creatures that succeed are immune to Prophecy of the Play for 24 hours. Once Rafiki uses Prophecy of the Play, he cannot use it again until he finishes a short or long rest.
Applause. Applause. When an ally within 30 feet succeeds on a saving throw or attack roll, Rafiki can use his reaction to grant that ally a burst of theatrical confidence, adding to the result.
Run the Lines. Run the Lines. When Rafiki is targeted by a spell attack, he can impose disadvantage on the attack by stepping behind scenery, if any are within 10 feet.
Direct. Direct. Rafiki gives an ally within 30 feet a cue. The ally can use its reaction to move up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Encore (Costs 2 Actions). Encore. Rafiki performs a short flourish. One ally within 30 feet regains hit points.
Curtain Call (Costs 3 Actions). Curtain Call. Rafiki forces a single hostile creature within 30 feet to make a Wisdom saving throw or be stunned until the end of its next turn as if frozen in place during the final act.
