Silvyrus, Warden Beneath the Dark Skies - AI-generated fantasy Monster

Silvyrus, Warden Beneath the Dark Skies

Silvyrus remembers Asterra before its current borders were drawn. He has advised kings, hidden refugees beneath his wings, and buried entire generations beneath cairns of silver stone. Gellidus was once his sworn companion in the defense of the northern passes, but obsession with Hrimora's return twisted that bond into hatred. Silvyrus now pursues Gellidus across a dying winter, unaware that a second, unrelated ritual far to the south - one being fought over by mortal adventurers against the blue dragon Anthradusk - will unleash the wild magic surge that finally binds them both together.

Legendary Resistance. Silvyrus has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. He cannot be Frightened, and magical sleep has no effect on him.
Legendary Resistance. If Silvyrus fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead. He can use this trait four times per day, or five times while in his lair.
Silver Weapons. Silvyrus's weapon attacks are magical. When he hits with any weapon, the attack deals an extra 9 () cold damage included in the attack's damage.
Warden of the Silver Thread. Silvyrus can use a bonus action to sense the location of any creature carrying a fragment of IceWar or touched by Gellidus's ritual magic, provided that creature is within 1 mile.
Sanctuary of Clear Skies. Silvyrus is surrounded by a 30-foot aura of calm, clear air. Allies in the aura have advantage on saving throws against cold, fear, and magical weather. Enemies in the aura treat snow and ice as difficult terrain.
Fate Bound to IceWar. If Silvyrus drops to 0 hit points while Gellidus is also near death, and the wild magic surge from the distant, unrelated Anthradusk ritual happens to be sweeping through the region, he does not die immediately. Instead, his body dissolves into silver vapor and his consciousness is drawn into whatever vessel the surge creates, fused against his will with Gellidus's. Neither dragon intended or foresaw this outcome.
Multiattack. The dragon makes one Bite attack and two Claw attacks.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 19 () piercing damage plus 9 () cold damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 15 () slashing damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 17 () bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Huge or smaller creature, it is grappled, escape . Until this grapple ends, the target is Restrained, and the dragon can't use its Tail attack against another target.
Cold Breath. The dragon exhales freezing vapor in a 90-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 67 () cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature that fails the save is also Restrained by ice until the end of its next turn. A Restrained creature can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Paralyzing Breath. The dragon exhales silver-white vapor in a 90-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become Paralyzed for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. The dragon can't use this action again until it finishes a Long Rest.
Change Shape. The dragon magically polymorphs into a Humanoid or Beast with a challenge rating no higher than 21, or back into its true form. Its statistics are the same in each form, except for its size and movement. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Silver Intervention. When Silvyrus or a creature he can see within 60 feet fails a saving throw, Silvyrus adds 5 to the roll, potentially turning the failure into a success. If the saving throw is against cold damage or an effect caused by Gellidus, the bonus is 10 instead.
Guardian's Wing. When a creature within 15 feet of Silvyrus is hit by an attack, Silvyrus interposes a wing or tail. The creature gains resistance to the attack's damage, and Silvyrus can move the creature up to 10 feet without provoking Opportunity Attacks.
Claw. The dragon makes one Claw attack or uses Detect.
Wing Attack. The dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 15 () bludgeoning damage and be pushed up to 10 feet. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.
Commanding Advance (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon makes one Tail attack, or it moves up to half its speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks.
Silver Tempest (Costs 3 Actions). The dragon uses Cold Breath if available. If Cold Breath is unavailable, it instead releases a burst of freezing silver light. Each creature of the dragon's choice within 20 feet must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 18 () cold damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
