Dragon Wasp

Villagers tell of 'sky biters' that strip the hides from goats and can fell a shepherd in minutes when they hunt in a swarm. Folklore often confuses dragon wasps with draconic wyrmlings because of their scales, but hunters know them by the stinging, hewing pain of their barbs.

Pack Tactics. The dragon wasp has advantage on attack rolls against any creature if at least one of the wasp's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally is not incapacitated.
Scaled Carapace. The dragon wasp's exoskeleton is made of overlapping dragon-like scales that provide natural armor. The wasp's AC is 15.
Flyby. The dragon wasp can move through the space of any creature that is of a size larger than Small. The wasp does not provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach.
Venom Contact. A creature that touches the wasp or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take poison damage from incidental venom contact, or half as much on a success.
Call of the Nest. If a dragon wasp is reduced to 0 hit points, its death cry is a high, piercing buzz that draws nearby dragon wasps within 120 feet that can hear it to the source. Roll a d6; on a 4-6 one additional dragon wasp arrives in rounds at the referee's discretion. This represents colony behavior and is optional for encounter balance.
Sting. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: piercing damage. If the target is wearing nonmagical armor, the attack roll ignores up to +2 of the target's armor bonus to AC (this represents the sting's armor-piercing chitin).
Multiattack. The dragon wasp makes two Sting attacks.
Snapback. When a creature enters the dragon wasp's reach for the first time on a turn, the dragon wasp may make one Sting attack against that creature.
