Fulgurite Weaver

Desert nomads speak of 'The Glass Singers,' spirits that appear after violent storms. They are not intentionally evil, but their mere presence turns the soft dunes into a maze of razor-sharp glass traps.

Vitrification. Whenever the Weaver deals lightning damage to a creature standing on sand or loose earth, that square becomes Difficult Terrain as it turns into jagged fulgurite. A creature that moves into or through such a square for the first time on a turn takes 5 () slashing damage.
Sand Form. The Weaver can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing. While in a sandstorm or desert environment, it can take the Hide action as a bonus action.
Lightning Blood. A creature that touches the Weaver or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 5 () lightning damage.
Multiattack. The Weaver makes two Fulgurite Blade attacks.
Fulgurite Blade. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 () slashing damage plus 7 () lightning damage.
Glass Shard Volley (Recharge 5-6). The Weaver spins rapidly, flinging glass shards in a 20-foot radius. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 21 () slashing damage and is blinded until the end of its next turn. On a success, it takes half damage and is not blinded.
Arc Step. The Weaver teleports up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space it can see. Each creature within 5 feet of the space the Weaver leaves must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 10 () lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
Shatter-Back. When the Weaver takes bludgeoning or thunder damage, it can release a spray of glass. All creatures within 5 feet must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 9 () piercing damage.
