Ash-Seer Krazza - AI-generated fantasy Monster

Ash-Seer Krazza

The Ash-Seer Krazza was once a gnoll priest who survived the collapse of an ancient burial complex beneath the Gnoll Maw. In the darkness, Krazza heard voices rising from a crack labeled only room-6. The voices promised victory, but demanded that Krazza paint eyes across the shrine walls so they could see the world. Each new eye gave Krazza another fragment of prophecy and another voice in its skull. Krazza now believes that the crack is a sleeping oracle. In truth, something intelligent and famished is using the shrine as a listening post.

Listener in the Dark. Krazza is permanently aware of the location of every creature within the shrine while the stone bowl remains intact. It cannot be surprised while in the shrine.
Voice-Haunted Priest. Krazza has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened. Other creatures frightened by Krazza cannot willingly move closer to the stone bowl unless they succeed on a Wisdom saving throw.
Eyes in Every Wall. When Krazza casts a spell that deals psychic or necrotic damage, the spell can originate from any painted gnoll eye on the shrine walls within 60 feet of Krazza.
Spellcasting. Krazza is a 9th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom, spell save , and to hit with spell attacks. It requires no material components for its spells and has the following spells prepared.
Prophecy Feeds on Fear. At the start of each of Krazza's turns, one frightened creature within 60 feet of the stone bowl takes 3 () psychic damage. If no creature is frightened, Krazza gains 5 temporary hit points.
Multiattack. The Ash-Seer makes two Ashen Crook attacks, or uses Ashen Crook and Eye-Splitting Murmur.
Ashen Crook. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 () bludgeoning damage plus 7 () psychic damage. If the target is frightened, it takes an extra 4 () psychic damage.
Eye-Splitting Murmur. The Ash-Seer whispers the voices beneath room-6 toward one creature it can see within 60 feet. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or take 18 () psychic damage and become frightened until the end of the Ash-Seer's next turn. On a successful save, the target takes half damage and is not frightened.
Room-6 Ash. The Ash-Seer releases a cloud of grave-gray ash in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on a point within 60 feet. The area becomes heavily obscured until the end of the Ash-Seer's next turn. Each creature in the area when it appears must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 21 () necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. The Ash-Seer can see normally through this ash.
Gnoll-Eye Brand. The Ash-Seer marks one creature it can see within 60 feet with a crawling image of a gnoll eye. The target must succeed on a Charisma saving throw or be cursed for 1 minute. While cursed, the target cannot benefit from being invisible, and whenever it starts its turn frightened, it takes 7 () psychic damage. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the curse on a success.
Bowl-Sheltered Defiance. When Krazza is hit by an attack while standing within 30 feet of the stone bowl, it reduces the damage by 10 () and teleports to an unoccupied space within 10 feet of the bowl. The stone bowl darkens until the start of Krazza's next turn, and this reaction cannot be used again until then.
Ashen Step. The Ash-Seer moves up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Whisper from Below. One creature within 30 feet of the stone bowl must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on the next attack roll or saving throw it makes before the end of its next turn.
Come Closer (Costs 2 Actions). The Ash-Seer chooses one creature frightened by it within 60 feet. That creature must use its reaction, if available, to move up to half its speed toward the crack beneath room-6. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
Voice Through the Bowl (Costs 3 Actions). The Ash-Seer uses Eye-Splitting Murmur or Room-6 Ash, if available.
