Shadow Sense. The Hadfell Widow can see perfectly in darkness created by spells and natural shadow within 60 feet. She senses vibrations in the sand and can track moving creatures within 30 feet through difficult terrain without disadvantage.
Spider Agility. She can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check. Creating or breaking webs is a special action that does not require tools.
Sticky Craft. The Widow's silk is strong and acrid. Ranged fire that hits silk reduces its durability by 2 for that attack. A strong wind can disperse a patch of webbing (save Strength check or the web is shredded).

Barbed Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: to hit, range 60/240 ft., one creature. Hit: 9 () piercing damage. The Hadfell Widow prefers to fire these poisoned barbed bolts from a crude composite crossbow mounted on her carapace, firing when she wants to soften foes from a distance.
Spit Web. Ranged Weapon Attack: to hit, range 30 ft., one Large or smaller creature. Hit: The target is restrained by sticky silken webbing. A restrained target can use an action to make a Strength check, escaping on a success. The webbing can be destroyed (AC 10, hp 15). The Hadfell Widow can deploy a web line to create a 20-foot square of difficult terrain covered in webbing; the web persists until dispersed by a strong wind or destroyed.
