Spider Climb. The Broodmother can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Vibration Sense. The Broodmother has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on vibration, and it can sense the presence of creatures touching the same surface within 60 feet, even in darkness.

Broodweb Volley. The Broodmother hurls a mass of reinforced silk at a point it can see within 60 feet. Each creature of the Broodmother's choice within 10 feet of that point must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be restrained by webbing. A restrained creature can use its action to make a Strength check, freeing itself on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10, 15 hit points; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to poison and psychic damage).
Toxic Miasma. The Broodmother exhales a cloud of choking purple spores in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 14 () poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. On a failed save, the creature also can't take reactions until the start of its next turn.
Retributive Silk. When a creature the Broodmother can see hits her with a melee attack, she can deal 5 () piercing damage to that creature as a spray of barbed silk lashes back from her shell.
Skitter. The Broodmother moves up to half her speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Spinal Twitch. One creature restrained by the Broodmother's webbing or within 5 feet of her must succeed on a Strength saving throw or take 7 () necrotic damage.
Silk Snare (Costs 2 Actions). The Broodmother uses Broodweb Volley or makes one Necrotic Bite attack.
