Nightstalker of the Blackwood - AI-generated fantasy Monster

Nightstalker of the Blackwood

Old women sing of a 'rooted hunter' born from a vow broken in the wood. Folktales say it is the forest's hunger made flesh, punishing the living who plunder the wilds after dusk. Farmers offer combs of wheat and sweet cider at their hedges to keep its attention away from their children.

Sun-weakness. If the nightstalker starts its turn in sunlight it takes 5 radiant damage and has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until the end of that turn.
Multiattack. The nightstalker makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 () piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 () slashing damage.
Nightmire Breath. Ranged spelllike effect. The nightstalker exhales a cloud of black pollen and shadow in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 21 () necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a success. Creatures that fail the save are also poisoned until the end of their next turn. After using this ability the nightstalker must finish a short or long rest before using it again.
Nightmare Howl. The nightstalker releases a low, bone-deep howl. Each creature of the nightstalker’s choice within 60 feet that can hear it and that is not immune to fear must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. The nightstalker can use this ability once, and regains the use after finishing a short or long rest.
Rending Lunge. When a creature the nightstalker can see moves out of its reach, the nightstalker can use its reaction to make one claw attack against that creature.
