Binding Saturation. The dragon can choose to make one binding during its turn using Binding Echo or Binding of Fate. It can maintain up to five independent bindings at a time without concentrating. Each binding persists for up to 1 hour unless dispelled, removed by specific magic (remove curse, greater restoration, wish used as allowed), or the dragon chooses to end it. A binding links two valid things: people to people, people to objects, objects to objects, people to a time, or itself to an object. Each binding has mechanical effects described below.
Lair Thread. Vhelrazi emits a 90-foot aura while in its lair. Last Covenant. If Vhelrazi would be reduced to 0 hit points it can choose to bind itself to a nearby object as a last resort. Doing so forces any creature within 30 feet to make a Wisdom save or be bound to the same object (target chosen by Vhelrazi) and pulled 30 feet toward it. The dragon is reduced to 1 hit point and becomes incorporeal and immobile until the binding ends. While bound like this the dragon is immune to all damage except psychic and radiant and takes half damage from those types.

When a creature within 120 feet attempts to cast dispel magic or remove curse on a willing target bound by Vhelrazi, the dragon can use its reaction to impose disadvantage on that caster's ability check or force a Charisma saving throw to redirect the effect to an inert lair pillar instead.
Sensing Bond. Detect. The dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check or senses a target currently linked by any binding within 120 feet.
