When the warlord rises, entire regions remember old battles and songs change to dirges. Priests warn that not even consecration can fully silence the warlord without specific rites.

Half-Bound Existence. The Gravebound Warlord is treated as both living and undead for the purposes of spells and effects that target either type. Positive energy heals it half as effectively as it heals living creatures and deals half as much damage as it normally would to undead.
Warlord's Dread. Any fear or mind-affecting effect the warlord uses is resolved at +4 to save DCs. Once per day it may apply a prolonged dread: affected targets who fail their save are frightened for 1 minute and cannot be easily removed by lesser magic.
Command's Boon. The warlord gains temporary hit points equal to 50 when it successfully commands an undead creature to obey. These temporary hit points last until depleted or the command ends.
Regeneration (Necrotic-Frost). The gravebound warlord regenerates 15 HP per round. Positive energy suppresses this regeneration (treat as vulnerability) and can halt it for rounds per use.
Greatsword Sweep. Melee Attack Greatsword +27/+22 (3 attacks) slashing; on a critical, target is sundered (if object) or suffers an additional bleeding damage and is pushed 5 feet.
Throwing Axe. Ranged Attack Throwing Axe +21 (range 20/60) slashing. The warlord can make a single throwing attack as part of a charge or as an opportunity when an enemy exits reach.
Tyrant's Dread. Close burst 10 feet. Enemies in the area must succeed on a Will save or be shaken for rounds; on a failure by 5 or more, they are frightened instead. Creatures that succeed are immune to this Warlord's aura for 24 hours.
Command Undead. The Gravebound Warlord can issue the Command Undead action. As a standard action, it targets one undead creature within 60 feet. The undead must succeed on a Will save or fall under the warlord's control for 1 minute. Undead immune to mind-affecting effects are immune. The warlord can control up to CR 12 worth of undead at once with this ability. Undead under its control take half damage from the warlord's allied attacks.
Rift of the Buried. Recharge 5-6. The warlord strikes the ground and rips a jagged rift of necrotic earth in a 30-foot line (5-foot wide). Creatures in the line must make a Reflex save. On a failure, they take negative energy damage and are knocked prone. On a success, half damage and not prone. The rift remains for 1 round as difficult terrain for enemies of the warlord.
Shielded March. Shielded March. When an ally under the warlord's command is struck while within 10 feet, the warlord may interpose and take half the damage instead (must be used immediately, once per round).
Sudden Strike (Costs 2 Actions). Sudden Strike. The warlord makes one greatsword attack or a throwing-axe attack.
Rally the Dead (Costs 3 Actions). Rally the Dead. The warlord commands any controlled undead within 60 feet to immediately take a single attack or move action.
Grave Step (Costs 4 Actions). Grave Step. Teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space within line of sight that is on natural earth and appears to burst with frost on arrival. The warlord may then make one melee attack.
