Hathean Moonwolf

Tales in Hathea speak of wolves born of moonlit storms and stone-sang. Some shepherds leave offerings of milk near old waystones to keep packs from preying on flocks. Hunters swear that the fur of a Hathean Wolf will hum in a wizard's satchel unless properly bound.

Pack Tactics. The Hathean Wolf has advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of the wolf's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Keen Hearing and Smell. The wolf has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell while Leyline Anchor is active. It can track creatures by scent even through light magical concealment.
Leyline Affinity. While the wolf is within 10 feet of a visible leyline feature or within its lair, it can use a bonus action to activate Leyline Anchor without expending its action.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 () piercing damage plus 4 () radiant damage. If the target is a creature, the Hathean Wolf can attempt to shove the target prone as a bonus action.
Moonlit Howl (Recharge 5-6). The Hathean Wolf releases a long, echoing howl suffused with Hathean moonlight. Each creature of the wolf's choice within 30 feet that can hear it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of its next turn. Undead and constructs have disadvantage on this saving throw. The wolf can use this feature again after rolling a 5 or 6 on a d6 at the start of its turn (Recharge 5-6).
Leyline Anchor. The wolf spends its action to root itself briefly in leylines beneath the soil. For 1 minute the wolf gains advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell and its bite deals an additional radiant damage. This effect ends early if the wolf moves more than 10 feet from its starting space.
Leyline Reflex. When a creature the wolf can see within 10 feet hits it with an attack, the wolf can use its reaction to add +2 to its AC against that attack, potentially causing the attack to miss. The wolf can use this reaction a number of times equal to 1 + its Constitution modifier (minimum 1) per long rest.
2nd level
Pass Without Trace (1/long rest)Abjuration The wolf can cast pass without trace once per long rest without material components. When cast this way it manifests as a soft veil of motes and falling light.
