Cheddar was once a normal binturong living beneath the oldest trees of the Whispering Woods. A wandering druid awakened him after Cheddar repeatedly guided lost children home during a terrible winter. Since then, he has appointed himself the forest's unofficial ambassador. He trades secrets with dryads, sprites, hunters, and crows, and he claims that the queen of Havenya once personally promised to listen whenever the woods begin to whisper.

Animal Speech. Cheddar can communicate with ordinary animals as though using speak with animals. Animals are not automatically friendly, but Cheddar gains a +4 circumstance bonus on Diplomacy checks against creatures that understand him.
Canopy Master. Cheddar gains a +4 racial bonus on Acrobatics and Climb checks and can use his Dexterity modifier instead of Strength for Climb checks. He can climb trees and vines at full speed while retaining his Dexterity bonus to Armor Class.
