Stirring Corpse - AI-generated fantasy Monster

Stirring Corpse

Caretakers of the Catacombs of Calathis once prepared bodies with carefully measured burial oil to keep cloth from sticking and to honor the dead. If a body soaked too long, or if anointing rites were interrupted by violence, the residue could cling to the corpse like a second skin. Over time, that residue might wake a dead attendant into a dull, obedient revenant. Such creatures are not hungry in the usual sense. They are possessive. They remember the chamber, the shelves, and the order of the dead, and they react violently to anyone who breaks that order.

Undead Nature. The Stirring Corpse does not require air, food, drink, or sleep.
Cloth-Hide. The corpse has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made in dim light or among stacked cloth, and it can attempt to Hide as a bonus action if it is within 5 feet of funerary cloths, shelves, or similar cover.
Pulling Grip. A creature hit by the corpse's Rusted Hook must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pulled up to 5 feet toward the corpse if that movement brings the creature closer to the storage room's clutter or a wall.
