Voidborne Stainling

Faintly mentioned in whispered superstitions, voidborne are called 'night's finger' or 'stain-bearers'. Old lantern-makers tell tales of lamps that burn clear only if their glass is blessed to prevent voidborne from feeding.

Insubstantial Form. The voidborne is composed of shadow. It can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing. It has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, frightened, or stunned.
Void Step. Once per short rest, as a bonus action, the voidborne teleports up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space it can see that is dimly lit or in darkness. It must end this teleportation in dim light or darkness.
Aura of Dimming. The stainling radiates an aura of dimming light. Within 10 feet of it, bright light counts as dim light. Magical light sources that create bright light have their radius halved within this aura.
Bright Weakness. If the stainling begins its turn in bright light, it takes 3 radiant-draining damage as the void at its center lashes at itself. If in bright light, its Shadow Lash deals the additional radiant-draining damage and its speed is reduced by 10 feet.
Shadow Lash. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 () necrotic damage. If the target is in bright light, it takes an additional 3 () radiant-draining damage and its next attack roll before the end of its next turn is made with disadvantage.
Abyssal Grasp. The voidborne attempts to pull a creature toward the patch of swirling darkness that clings to it. Ranged Spell Attack: to hit, range 30 ft., one creature that is Large or smaller. On a hit, the target is pulled up to 10 feet closer to the voidborne and must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained by intangible tendrils until the end of its next turn. A restrained creature can use an Action to attempt the Strength saving throw again, ending the effect on a success.
Consume Light (Recharge 5-6). The voidborne unleashes a clutch of living shadows in a 10-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of its next turn and take 5 () necrotic damage. On a success, a creature takes half damage and is not blinded.
Evasive Blur. When a creature within 10 feet attacks it, the voidborne can momentarily spread and impose disadvantage on that attack roll. It must decide to use this reaction before the attack roll is made.

Innate Darknessillusion The stainling can cast darkness centered on itself once per short rest without components. The darkness created is slightly deeper and reduces bright light by one step within 10 feet of the stainling while active.
Shadow Driftabjuration The stainling can cast pass without trace on itself once per long rest (self only).
