Spectre, Demigod of Obsidian Requiem

Forged by the immortal god Iunathar to maintain cosmic balance, Spectre's path twisted through infernal courts, exile, betrayal, and tragic mercy. He once served Asmodeus, reformed the terms of his servitude, devoured essences of immortals to survive exile, won demigodhood by besting the Trial of Ascension, and now travels as a judge and guardian, bound to neither heaven nor hell.

Immortal Residuum. Spectre cannot truly be killed while his Residuum exists in the pocket plane. If reduced to 0 hit points outside his lair he reforms in a new avatar in years unless his Residuum is destroyed by a ritual involving planar essence. Spectre can shapeshift into any humanoid of Medium size as an action.
Regeneration. At the start of his turn, Spectre regains 45 hit points if he has at least 1 hit point and is within his lair. Outside his lair he regains 15 hit points at the start of his turn.
Demigod Spellcasting. Spectre is a spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save , to hit with spell attacks). He casts as an 18th-level caster for spell slot purposes but may use innate effects beyond those slots.
Echo Projection. Spectre can use an action to create an echo: a quasi-real projection of a creature he has observed. An echo has 150 hit points, AC 18, and acts on Spectre's initiative. Only one echo may exist per 30 feet of Spectre. Destroying an echo forces a Constitution saving throw () or Spectre regains a spell slot or uses Reclaim automatically.
Obsidian Ward. Spectre can shift his damage resistances or immunities once per turn to a single damage type he can see being used against him.
Astral-Eyed Seraphic Lash. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 36 () radiant slashing damage plus 22 () necrotic damage and the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or have its hit point maximum reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken. Reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest or until Spectre uses Reclaim at the end of the encounter.
Obsidian Requiem Bolt. Ranged Spell Attack: to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 40 () force damage. If the target is an immortal, celestial, fiend, or undead creature, the attack deals an additional 40 () radiant damage and the target must make a Wisdom saving throw or be stunned until the end of its next turn.
Spectral Phoenix Step. Spectral Phoenix Step. Spectre teleports, along with up to three willing creatures or objects he is touching, to an unoccupied space he can see within 120 feet. Each unwilling creature within 10 feet of Spectre after the teleport must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 45 () radiant damage and be flung 30 feet in a direction of Spectre's choice and land prone. Once used, Spectral Phoenix Step cannot be used again until Spectre finishes a short or long rest unless he spends a legendary action to recharge it.
Drain Vestment. Drain Vestment. Spectre targets one creature he can see within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or have one concentration, spell slot level, or class resource (DM fiat) sapped: if a spell slot, the slot is expended and Spectre regains a 6th-level spell slot for each two levels drained. If the save succeeds, the target is immune to Drain Vestment for 24 hours.
Parry Fate. Parry Fate. When a creature misses Spectre with a melee attack, Spectre can add +9 to AC against that attack, potentially causing it to miss, and teleport 10 feet as part of the reaction.
Echo Swap. Echo Swap. When targeted by a single-target spell, Spectre can swap places with an echo within 120 feet that he created. The spell follows and targets the echo instead.
Quick Lash. Quick Lash. Spectre makes one Astral-Eyed Seraphic Lash attack.
Dimensional Slip (Costs 2 Actions). Dimensional Slip. Spectre uses Spectral Phoenix Step on himself only.
Reserve Drain (Costs 3 Actions). Reserve Drain. Spectre uses Drain Vestment.
Reclaim (Costs 3 Actions). Reclaim. Spectre regains spell slots equal to half of his spellcasting modifier rounded up or pulls one 6th-level slot from any creature he previously reduced with Drain Vestment (if present).
