The Grave-bound Silverback

The Grave-bound Silverback was once the protector of the Emerald Canopy. When a necromancer king was buried in the grove, the resulting blight killed the forest and its denizens. The alpha refused to leave his family, dying atop the king's tomb. The curse fused the ape with the tomb, creating a guardian that now hates all things that draw breath.

Grave-Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 23 () bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Frightful Beat. The Silverback beats its chest. Each creature of the Silverback's choice that is within 60 feet and can hear it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns.
Vengeful Swipe. When a creature within 10 feet deals damage to the Silverback, the Silverback makes one Slam attack against that creature.
Leap. The Silverback moves up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Slam. The Silverback makes one Slam attack.
Necrotic Pulse (Costs 2 Actions) (Costs 2 Actions). The Silverback releases a wave of negative energy. Each creature within 20 feet must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 27 () necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success. The Silverback regains hit points equal to the highest amount of necrotic damage dealt to a single creature by this pulse.
