Pyrecliff Sentinel

Local miners tell of stone titans that patrol the old magma seams to keep greedy hands from tearing the mountain. Shepherds leave small offerings of metalwork at smoothed ledges to appease them. Old songs call pyrecliffs the 'mantles of the mountain' and credit them with forging the first obsidian blades.

Mountain's Endurance. The pyrecliff has advantage on saving throws against being poisoned and on checks to resist difficult mountain terrain.
Fireforged. The pyrecliff is immune to fire damage and immune to the poisoned condition. It has resistance to poison damage. It is vulnerable to cold damage.
Heat Aura. A creature that ends its turn within 5 feet of the pyrecliff takes fire damage as drifting embers and heat lick at armor and skin.
Rockstride. The pyrecliff can move through nonmagical difficult terrain of rock and rubble without extra movement cost. It can also burrow through compacted scree and cooling slag as part of its burrow movement.
Stone Camouflage. The pyrecliff can attempt to hide on rocky surfaces by covering itself with falling scree and steam. It has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide on stone surfaces when it remains still.
Multiattack. The pyrecliff makes two slam attacks.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: bludgeoning damage plus fire damage and the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 feet away and knocked prone.
Molten Breath (Recharge 5-6). The pyrecliff exhales a cone of superheated ash and flame in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures that fail the save are also covered in ember-ash and have disadvantage on stealth checks and Dexterity saving throws until they or an ally spends an action to extinguish the embers.
Flame Shard. Ranged Spell Attack: to hit, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: piercing damage plus fire damage. On a hit, the projectile bursts on the target and any creature within 5 feet of the target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take fire damage.
Stoneward. When the pyrecliff is hit by a melee attack, it can reduce the damage by 3 + its Constitution modifier (total 6) as the ember-plates flare and deflect the blow.
