Shakira is a lean, youthful-looking shadar-kai with deep purple hair cut in uneven layers that cling to her cheeks like wet ink. Her violet eyes seem almost black until light catches their inner rings, which gleam like bruised glass. She moves with a dancer's economy, placing each foot as though the floor might complain. Her hands are always busy, checking a seam, tightening a knot, or counting the tiny vials hidden at her belt. Her voice and posture suggest a patient assassin, but she has an unexpectedly gentle smile and laughs at terrible jokes with wholehearted delight.
