Warden-Captain Dorin Fracturewatch
Warden Commander, Fighter 10
Warden-Captain Dorin Fracturewatch
Species
Dwarf
Appearance
Dorin looks carved rather than born, a broad-shouldered dwarf with a square face, a flattened nose, and old scars that pull one side of her mouth into a permanent near-smile. Her skin is deep umber with pale mineral flecks across her knuckles and temples, as though powdered stone has settled beneath it. She moves with the careful economy of someone who has spent decades in narrow tunnels, never wasting a step or turning her back on a wall. Her armor makes almost no clatter despite its weight. The unexpected softness is in her hands, which are small, neat, and always warm from the rune-stones she carries. Children and wounded recruits often reach for them before they realize they are touching the hands of the Deep Wardens' supreme commander.
“Her voice is low, dry, and deliberate, with the rough cadence of someone accustomed to being heard through stone and machinery. She never shouts during a crisis.”

Distinguishing Features
A pale scar runs from her right ear to the corner of her mouth.
The fingers of her left hand are capped with thin silver plates after an old seal-burn injury.
Her beard is braided into five squared sections, each bound with a different color of thread representing a fallen unit.
The heavy ring of original seal keys is visibly too large for her hand and leaves a dark groove in her palm.
She carries a child's clay whistle in a small breastplate compartment.
Voice
“Low, dry, deliberate, and quietly commanding”
Clothing
Dull adamantine plate over a quilted charcoal undercoat, a dark basalt-weave cloak fastened with a plain iron clasp, reinforced gloves, and a red cord around her left wrist marking her first command
Body Language
Dorin stands squarely, usually with one hand resting on the ring of seal keys at her belt. She tilts her head toward distant vibrations and often presses two fingers against stone while thinking. In moments of tenderness, her posture loosens by a fraction, revealing how much effort her usual stillness requires.
