Appearance
Mira looks like she was sketched from a rain-soaked alley and then lit from within by a coal ember. She has straight black hair worn tied back with a cracked silver clasp, though a few stubborn strands always cling to her cheekbones as if they are trying to hide with her. Her skin is warm olive toned and lightly freckled across the nose, her black eyes are sharp and almost reflective, and her expression often seems amused by secrets nobody else can see. She is compact and quick-moving, with a narrow build that seems built for slipping between crowds. Her left sleeve is always a little too neat compared to the rest of her ragged layers, because it hides a surprisingly elegant embroidered cuff from a life she refuses to mention. When she stands still, she looks cautious and wiry, but when she moves she has the fluid confidence of a cat that knows exactly which tiles will squeak.
“Low, quick, and precise, with a dry humor that turns sharper when she is uncomfortable. She often sounds like she is finishing a thought no one else was trusted to hear.”

Distinguishing Features
A thin white scar crossing the bridge of her nose from a broken rooftop tile
Ink-stained fingertips that never fully wash clean
A silver clasp in her hair shaped like a crescent lantern
One earring made from a tiny bent key
A faint soot stain on the inside of her left wrist from the Ashmarket Fire
Voice
“Warm but guarded, with a city-street cadence and a faint habit of ending sentences as though they are challenges”
Clothing
Layered charcoal street leathers under a short ash-gray hooded coat, fingerless gloves, soft-soled boots, a belt of hidden pockets, and a red thread tied around one wrist as a private reminder of the Ashmarket Fire
Body Language
She keeps her shoulders loose and her weight on the balls of her feet, as if any conversation might become a sprint. When suspicious, her chin lowers and her eyes never stop moving. When relaxed, she tilts one hip against a wall and looks far less dangerous than she is.
