Donigi
Rogue
Donigi
Species
Sulatar drow elf
Appearance
Donigi is a compact, long-limbed drow woman whose movements are quiet without seeming delicate. She walks with the forward-leaning balance of someone accustomed to roots, wet stones, and branches that shift beneath her feet. Her expression is usually watchful, but her attention goes first to plants, animals, exits, and the hands of strangers rather than to their faces. A strip of old red-brown cord is permanently tied around her left wrist, its fibers polished smooth by years of worrying it between her fingers. Her most unexpected feature is her gentleness with broken things: she handles cracked pottery, injured insects, and frightened enemies with the same careful patience she denies to arrogant people.
“Her voice is low, dry, and unusually precise, with a faint roughness from years of speaking over wind and rain. She pauses before emotional words, as if testing whether they are safe to release.”

Distinguishing Features
Her eyes rarely settle on a speaker's face. They move constantly between hands, exits, animals, and nearby vegetation.
A red-brown cord, smooth from years of handling, is tied around her left wrist.
She carries herself with almost soundless balance, even on loose gravel or wooden floors.
Her smile appears unexpectedly when someone admits fear or confusion.
The fingertips of her right hand are permanently stained with dark ink from her private dream journal.
Voice
“A low contralto with a dry rasp, like a reed flute played beside a dying campfire”
Clothing
Close-fitted dark green leather armor covered by a sleeveless ash-gray mantle stitched with tiny representations of leaves, roots, and flame. Her boots are wrapped in soft barkcloth to mute their tread. She wears no jewelry except a plain iron ring on a cord beneath her shirt and the old wrist cord she had as an infant.
Body Language
Donigi keeps her shoulders relaxed and her weight slightly forward, as though ready to move through undergrowth. She touches the red-brown cord on her wrist whenever she hears the word mother. When suspicious, she tilts her head toward the speaker while her eyes track the room's exits.
