Appearance
A slender, long-limbed young woman with light bronze skin and a calm posture that never quite settles. Her chin is often raised, but one hip remains angled toward the nearest exit, as if courtesy and escape were equally important forms of preparation. Many narrow black braids, tied with russet thread, frame her clear youthful face. Her dark hazel eyes are flecked with amber, yet their most memorable quality is where they go: doorways, hands, windows, servants' trays, and the spaces beneath tables. She moves with economical precision, turning her whole body rather than exposing her back. Her fingertips are unusually clean and soft because she wears thin gloves whenever she handles ink, coins, or rough cargo, but the underside of her left thumb is permanently darkened by old graphite rubbed into the skin. The unexpected contradiction is that her polished, aristocratic appearance conceals the watchful habits of a traveling quartermaster who can sleep sitting upright beside a wagon axle.
“Measured and articulate, with a soft rounded cadence that carries faint Slavic and Old English coloring. She speaks gently when giving orders and becomes more dangerous when she lowers her volume.”

Distinguishing Features
Her gaze repeatedly checks doorways, windows, and other people's hands within seconds of entering a room.
The underside of her left thumb carries a permanent graphite stain despite her immaculate presentation.
Her braids are tied with russet thread, each knot marking a journey during which she changed a contract or redirected supplies.
She carries a leather ledger arranged in several different handwriting systems, including one used by illiterate laborers through symbols and tally marks.
She touches her plain amulet whenever family history is discussed, though she does not pray.
Voice
“A low, warm contralto with careful diction. She sounds almost soothing when threatening someone and almost severe when offering comfort.”
Clothing
A tailored russet riding coat with antique-gold piping and no front buttons, worn over a cream high-collared linen shirt. She wears charcoal riding trousers, polished riding boots, and a saffron-lined travel cloak marked by dust at the hem. Everything is worn but clean, carefully mended, and maintained. A plain amulet rests at her chest. No weapon is visible.
Body Language
Calm and guarded, with her shoulders relaxed but her weight subtly prepared to pivot. She keeps the ledger tucked beneath one arm, touches her plain amulet when someone mentions family, and watches hands more closely than faces.
