Amaya Quisurima
Species
Human
Appearance
Amaya is a young human woman with a strong athletic frame, narrow waist, and the balanced posture of someone who learned to climb before she learned to read. Her light skin has a warm gold undertone and a faint dusting of freckles across her shoulders. Her soft-cheeked face looks almost cherubic until she smiles, revealing one slightly prominent upper canine and a habit of showing every tooth when amused. She moves with a low, springy grace, occupying more space than her height suggests because she leans into conversations as if sharing a secret. Her expression is fierce and playful at once. The unexpected contradiction is that her hands are callused and quick, while her fingertips are always stained with rose-colored cosmetic powder, as though she has just left a dance hall rather than a smuggler's alley.
“Her voice is low, bright, and quick, with a musical cadence that rises at the end of jokes. She speaks precisely when frightened and becomes almost ceremonious when furious.”

Distinguishing Features
Her upper canine shows prominently whenever she laughs.
She takes a half-step closer than most people expect during conversation.
A pale crescent-shaped birthmark rests beneath her left collarbone.
Her palms are heavily callused, but her nails are kept neat and painted with tiny red dots.
She wears three small brass bells braided into the end of her hair, though they almost never make a sound.
Voice
“A low, clear contralto with a teasing musical rhythm, capable of turning from intimate warmth to command in a single sentence.”
Clothing
She wears a close-fitting indigo wrap top with crossed bands over the chest, a sleeveless copper-red vest, fitted charcoal trousers, a wide woven sash, and soft boots. Her shoulders and forearms remain bare, and a narrow strip of midriff shows above the sash. The outfit is practical for climbing but deliberately flattering because Amaya enjoys deciding when people underestimate her.
Body Language
Amaya stands close enough to make people feel chosen, then retreats with a dancer's sudden precision when she senses danger. Her shoulders remain relaxed, but her weight is always balanced over the balls of her feet. When lying, she smiles broadly and rubs her thumb along the side of her index finger.
