Appearance
Sahzima is a light-skinned young woman with an almost delicate face, large dark hazel eyes, and a small mouth that often looks ready to laugh. Her beauty is elegant at first glance, but her movements reveal the fierce athleticism beneath it. She stands with the loose balance of someone accustomed to moving across tilting decks, narrow roofs, and mountain paths. Her forearms are bare and corded with fine muscle, while her hands show the true history of her life: the pads of her fingers are darkened and rough from bowstrings, reins, and climbing rope, yet her nails are carefully kept and stained a faint saffron color. She leaves an impression of brightness and restless wind. The contradiction is that her face looks exceptionally cute and gentle, while her stillness has the unnerving patience of a hunting cat.
“Her voice is clear, breathy, and lightly sibilant, with a musical cadence that rises at the end of practical statements. She speaks quickly when excited and very slowly when making a threat.”

Distinguishing Features
Large caring hazel eyes that make her look gentler than she is
Rope-roughened fingertips and unusually strong, callused palms
A blue scarf whose lower edge is worn nearly white from years of being rubbed between her fingers
Two tiny brass bells sewn into her sash, both packed with wax so they make only the faintest dry click
A habit of smiling warmly while measuring the nearest route to violence
Voice
“Low and bright, with a soft breath at the edges of words. Her laughter arrives suddenly and completely, while her anger sounds almost ceremonial.”
Clothing
A fine ivory sleeveless tunic of tightly woven linen, split at the sides for movement, worn over loose rose-red trousers gathered at the ankles. A narrow turquoise sash wraps twice around her waist, its ends threaded with tiny brass bells that have been deliberately muffled with wax. She wears soft leather sandals, thin bronze bracelets, and a weathered blue scarf wrapped once around her throat despite the warmth.
Body Language
Sahzima rarely stands squarely. She leans, balances, or rests on the balls of her feet as though the ground might shift. When listening, she tilts her head and watches a speaker's hands. When she decides to fight, her shoulders drop, her chin lowers, and her bright expression becomes almost tender.
