Appearance
A very young noblewoman with bronze skin, a long intelligent face, and dark freckles scattered over her nose and cheekbones like pepper on warm bread. Her luminous amber eyes are flecked with gold and rarely look directly at the person speaking to her. Brown hair with auburn glints is gathered into a thick side braid threaded with tiny coral beads, while sleepless wisps cling to her temples. She is thinly built and moves with careful economy, always keeping one shoulder angled toward the nearest route out. Her hands are unusually memorable: the fingertips are stained blue-black with ledger ink, the nails are kept short, and the pads of her thumbs are rough from years of pressing wax seals and turning damp pages. Her calm expression suggests composure, but her breathing becomes shallow and almost noiseless when she is frightened. The contradiction is that everything about her looks polished and aristocratic except her boots, which are scarred by mountain roads, stable muck, and hurried escapes.
“Her voice is low, clear, and carefully paced, with a soft Caucasus-inflected cadence beneath polished court diction. She pronounces names correctly even when others do not.”

Distinguishing Features
Dark freckles across her nose and cheekbones
Amber eyes with tiny gold flecks that seem brighter near written contracts
Blue-black ink permanently worked into the creases of her fingertips
A side braid threaded with small coral beads, each bead representing someone she successfully led across a border
Her breathing becomes nearly silent when she is afraid
A small round amulet that is warm even in cold weather
Voice
“A low, precise contralto with a soft mountain cadence, usually controlled enough to sound older than she is. When frightened, she speaks more quietly rather than more quickly.”
Clothing
A fitted bottle-green wool coat over a cream high-collared linen shirt, charcoal riding trousers, polished but road-worn boots, and a brass-buckled belt. The coat opens slightly to reveal crimson lining etched with geometric patterns. A small, round polished amulet rests near her chest, almost hidden beneath the collar.
Body Language
Her chin stays slightly raised and her shoulders remain relaxed, giving her the look of a composed young courtier. Beneath that poise, her weight is always balanced over the balls of her feet, one hand near her ledger and the other close to a belt knife. When rattled, she goes very still, inhales through her nose, and speaks only after counting silently to five.
