Mwana Kito
Species

Appearance
Mwana is a light-skinned young woman with an elegant athletic frame, long limbs, and the balanced posture of someone who is always ready to spring sideways. Her face is unusually cute, almost cherubic, with a small rounded chin, soft cheeks, and enormous hazel-brown eyes that make even her fiercest stare seem briefly compassionate. Her beauty becomes more dangerous when she smiles. She moves with a loose, floating gait, placing each foot as carefully as a dancer, yet her hands are constantly restless, tapping rhythms against her thighs or tracing invisible lines in the air. The unexpected contradiction is that her fierce presence comes with an almost domestic gentleness: she instinctively straightens crooked chairs, brushes dust from other people's shoulders, and notices when someone has not eaten. Her hair is thick and dark, worn in many short twists gathered into a high knot with a pale blue cord. A tiny cluster of brass beads near her left temple clicks softly when she turns her head.
“Her voice is clear, low, and musical, with a soft cadence that rounds the edges of even sharp words. She speaks quickly when excited and deliberately slowly when angry.”

Voice
“Warm, low, musical, and quick to soften after anger”
Clothing
She wears a finely tailored saffron vest over a sleeveless cream blouse, leaving both arms exposed. The vest is embroidered with tiny blue river loops and fastened with polished wooden toggles. Her fitted dark trousers are tucked into soft leather boots. A narrow sash holds her daggers, though she keeps her rapier in a plain scabbard without ornament. Her clothing is expensive in cut but deliberately easy to move in.
Body Language
Mwana keeps her shoulders relaxed and her chin slightly lowered, giving the impression of calm attention. When she distrusts someone, she angles her body toward the nearest exit and begins tapping a silent three-beat rhythm with her thumb. When genuinely happy, she leans forward too far, as if joy has pulled her off balance.
