Mosi Kalandze
Fighter 8, Battle Master, Ridge Hunter
Mosi Kalandze
Species
Human
Appearance
Theron is a broad-shouldered human with the dense, weathered strength of someone raised where every path climbs and every roof may catch fire. His beard is iron-gray at the chin and braided with small copper rings taken from broken climbing hooks. A long nose, sun-cracked lips, and deep lines around his eyes give him a severe first impression, but his hands are unexpectedly gentle, always smoothing a frightened animal or tightening a child's mitten. He moves with a hunter's economy, placing each boot as if the ground might shift beneath him. One contradictory detail unsettles people: beneath his battered drake-hide cloak, he wears a clean white linen shirt embroidered with tiny blue flowers, carefully washed and mended by his younger sister.
“Low, dry, and deliberate. Mosi speaks with a ridge-country cadence shaped by long calls across ravines, stretching vowels when warning someone and clipping words when danger is near.”

Distinguishing Features
Copper rings braided into the end of his beard, each one marking a rescue or negotiated truce
A white shirt embroidered with blue flowers beneath otherwise severe hunting gear
A habit of testing every floorboard, bridge plank, and stair with the heel of his boot
A heavy crossbow with a stock made from black ridgewood, its limbs etched with the names of nine roosts
A faint scent of pine resin, oiled iron, and volcanic dust that follows him indoors
Voice
“A gravelly baritone with a dry warmth underneath, as if every sentence has passed through smoke before reaching the air.”
Clothing
A patched cloak of layered drake hide hangs over iron shoulder guards and a white linen shirt embroidered with tiny blue flowers. His trousers are gray wool reinforced at the knees with old saddle leather, and his boots are wrapped with replaceable climbing soles. Every buckle is wrapped in red thread to prevent metal clatter during hunts.
Body Language
Theron stands slightly sideways in conversation, keeping one shoulder angled toward the nearest escape route. His fingers often find the copper ring in his beard, rolling it between thumb and forefinger while he thinks. He rarely points. Instead, he indicates people and places with a small tilt of his chin. When genuinely angry, he becomes very still and begins folding his cloak into perfectly even pleats.
