High Acolyte Pyra Ash-Tender
Cleric 9, Forge Domain
High Acolyte Pyra Ash-Tender
Species
Dragonborn
Appearance
A tall dragonborn woman with golden-red scales, each plate edged in darker copper like metal cooled after forging. Fine ritual ash clings to the ridges of her snout, the folds beneath her jaw, and the seams of her vestments. She moves with deliberate economy, never wasting a step, yet her tail makes small impatient sweeps when someone lies. Her teeth are broad and ivory-bright, unusually well cared for, and she shows them in a startlingly warm smile when greeting frightened novitiates. Her brass vestments smolder at the hems without burning, releasing the scent of hot pennies, cedar charcoal, and bitter incense. One contradictory detail unsettles first impressions: beneath the severe ceremonial robes, she wears tiny red slippers embroidered with flowers by a child.
“Her voice is deep, controlled, and slightly rasped by years of smoke. She speaks slowly during instruction, with each sentence landing like a hammer strike, but her tone softens into a low musical cadence when addressing children or the grieving.”

Distinguishing Features
A thin line of pale gold scales runs from her lower lip to the center of her throat, visible whenever she speaks.
Her immaculate teeth contrast with the ash darkening her snout.
Her tail taps out a steady rhythm whenever she hears an untruth.
She wears child-sized embroidered slippers beneath severe ceremonial robes.
Her brass prayer-ring is polished so often that it has worn a shallow groove into one claw.
Voice
“Deep, smoky, and measured, with a warm musical undertone when she speaks to children or workers”
Clothing
Smoldering brass vestments layered over a soot-dark tunic, reinforced scale-leather gloves, a heavy red sash bearing the seal of the Forge Choir, and tiny crimson slippers embroidered with yellow mountain flowers. Every visible repair has been made with bright copper thread rather than hidden.
Body Language
Pyra stands squarely, with her hands folded behind her back and her chin slightly lowered. When listening closely, she presses one claw against the brass prayer-ring on her thumb. Her tail betrays emotions her face conceals, curling protectively around frightened children and striking sparks from stone when she is furious.
