Azzur-Veyl of the Gilded Quill
Species
Dragonborn (Gold)
Appearance
Azzur-Veyl is a tall, imposing dragonborn with burnished gold scales that catch streetlight like coin in a lantern. His snout is long and angular, lending a leonine dignity; small backward-curving horns crown his head and a delicate frilled ear-crest fans along his skull, each frill rimmed in a darker bronze. He wears half-moon spectacles balanced on the bridge of his muzzle, lenses that sometimes glow faintly with runic light when he studies a scroll. His robes are layered: the visible outer robe is deep midnight blue embroidered with shifting arcane sigils in gold thread, beneath which peek robes of pale silver patterned with hourglass motifs. He moves with measured, deliberate steps — a scholar used to long corridors more than battlefields — yet when about to cast a spell his posture snaps into a taut, predator-like precision. Unexpectedly, his tail is always wrapped in a length of crimson silk ribbon studded with tiny bells; the gentle chime contrasts oddly with the gravity of his bearing.
“Measured, slightly formal; uses precise vocabulary and older idioms. Occasionally slips into dry, wry aphorisms.”
