Appearance
Olda Senn is compact and densely built, with the grounded balance of someone accustomed to hauling sacks over uneven paving. Her left temple is shaved clean, while the remaining iron-brown hair is braided into a short rope that brushes her jaw. A blue cord is wrapped around her right thumb so many times that the skin beneath it has polished smooth and slightly darkened. Her hands are broad, dry, and permanently dusted with pale gravel that no washing quite removes. She moves in abrupt, economical starts, as if every step has already been budgeted. The first impression she leaves is of a stern dockside foreman, but her careful grooming, tiny silver ear studs, and unexpectedly delicate perfume suggest a private vanity she refuses to discuss.
“Low, clipped, and measured. Olda speaks as if every sentence must survive hostile review, but warmth appears in sudden flashes when discussing workers, children, or well-made tools.”

Distinguishing Features
A blue cord is wrapped around her right thumb, with one frayed section repeatedly rubbed smooth by anxious fingers.
Her left temple is shaved while the rest of her iron-brown hair is kept in a neat jaw-length braid.
The cuffs of her coat are reinforced with blue thread, each repair marking a successful union action.
She smells faintly of chalk dust, cedar oil, and the bitter orange perfume she wears only on negotiation days.
Voice
“A low contralto with a dry rasp, never loud unless giving evacuation orders. Her pauses feel deliberate, as though she is weighing the structural integrity of each word.”
Clothing
A charcoal wool vest over a faded rust-red work shirt, patched slate trousers, thick leather boots, and a weatherproof union sash worn beneath her coat rather than displayed over it. Her clothing is carefully mended, with each stitch made in blue thread.
Body Language
Olda keeps her elbows close and her feet planted wide. She turns her whole body toward whoever is speaking, but her eyes frequently flick to doors and load-bearing beams. When angered, she becomes very still and rubs the blue cord around her thumb until it creaks.
